About Beaches of Mallorca
Beaches of Mallorca helps you choose a beach for the day. It covers 68 beaches around the island, from town beaches to small coves. The site is free to use and needs no account.
What the site does
Each beach gets two scores from 0 to 10: one for a swim and one for a family day. The scores come from sea and weather forecasts and from official warnings. They refresh every hour. After dark, they show the next morning.
A score helps you compare beaches. It is not a safety check. Always follow local flags and lifeguard instructions.
How it works explains the scale, the factors and the limits.
How the beach guides are made
Each beach has a written guide. It covers access and parking, sand, water and shade, facilities, crowds, wind and hazards.
We use official sources only. Each guide lists them as links, so you can check the facts yourself.
Each guide goes through two research passes. An independent fact-check then compares every statement with its source.
The publisher reviews the English and German text. A language model from a different vendor reviews the Spanish and Catalan text.
Every guide shows the date of its last review. Beaches change, and mistakes happen. If you find one, email hello@beachesofmallorca.com with the beach and, if you can, a source. Corrections are welcome.
Who publishes it
Beaches of Mallorca is published by Philipp Beer.
