# Beaches of Mallorca > Beach guide for Mallorca with forecast-based swimming and family scores for 77 beaches. Beaches of Mallorca compares beaches for a casual swim or a daytime family visit. Swimming and Family scores come from forecast waves and wave period, water temperature, wind and gusts, feels-like temperature, and weather and rain (Open-Meteo), with official warnings from AEMET. For family visits, high UV (eased where shade is listed) and a beach without listed shallow water entry also limit the score. Each score is a whole number from 0 to 10, and the weakest condition in the weakest hour limits the result. No crowd count or jellyfish proxy affects either score. Crowd levels are a separate estimate. The scores help visitors compare recreational visits. They are not safety certifications or a validated risk model. Local flags, jellyfish, water quality and on-duty lifeguards are not verified. Follow local flags and lifeguard instructions. ## Pages - [Home](https://beachesofmallorca.com/): Beaches ranked by current or next-morning conditions, with a map. - [How it works](https://beachesofmallorca.com/how-it-works): Score scale, factors, sources and limits. - [About](https://beachesofmallorca.com/about): What the site does, how beach guides are researched and reviewed, who publishes it, and contact. - [Privacy](https://beachesofmallorca.com/privacy): Hosting, cookieless visit statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics), map, beach-request form and browser storage; no ads or cookies. - [Use with AI assistants](https://beachesofmallorca.com/ai): How to add the MCP connector to Claude or ChatGPT, and where agents find the live data. - [Best beaches in Mallorca](https://beachesofmallorca.com/best-beaches): 30 beaches grouped by type (long sand, small coves, calm shallow water, protected nature, near Palma, west coast), each pick with a stated criterion and official sources. ## Live conditions Current swimming and family scores for every beach, with water temperature, wave height and wind, refreshed from the hourly forecast.
